Appropriate Weather Wear

With the colder weather upon us, please ensure you send your students to school with weather appropriate attire.  Our students attend recess outside on a daily basis and we want to keep them protected against Wyoming's unpredictable weather.

If the temperature or wind chill temperature falls to 0 or below, our students will take part in INDOOR recess!

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Welcome to Cole Elementary School!

I am very excited and very humbled to be at Cole Elementary School full time.  Everyone has been very kind and welcoming.  I was told by many people, when I started here, that the entire Cole community is a family.  I’ve already seen lots of examples of it.  That’s one of the things I love most about our school.  It’s also what we hope to build on, moving forward.

Since being here full-time, I’ve been able to meet with all of our school’s teams.  The teams have been working hard to help improve the school experience for all of our students.  In the coming weeks, we are going to open a school store.  By exhibiting good behavior, students will be able to earn “Cougar Cash” which will be recorded by the school’s new app.  They can use their cash to buy items at the school store.  We are working on some new recess procedures that are intended to make recesses safer and more enjoyable for everyone.  These are just a few examples the strategies our teams are working on.

Cole Elementary is a great school.  We are blessed to have some of the hardest working and most dedicated staff members in the district.  Every member of our staff works hard every day to ensure our students are learning and that our families feel welcome.  All of us working together is what makes us the Cole family.  Thank you all, as always, for your help and support.
