Welcome back Cole families and students to the 2021-2022 school. I hope you all had a wonderful summer and are ready to get back into the swing of school!  My name is Matt Clay, and I am happy to be able to work with all of you as the new principal at Cole Elementary!  At Cole, we have a wonderful staff that is excited about all the new things happening this year.  As we start up this school year, please know that our main goal is to provide the best education for your child.  We pride ourselves on making sure that students learn in a safe and comfortable environment.  As with any new school year, there are a couple of items I would like you to be aware of:

·The Open House was a success, and it was great to see all of you as we prepared for the start of school.

·In an effort to keep students safe, we are encouraging students and families to remember to Big 4;

1.Sick? Stay home and contact your health provider.

2.Wash/sanitize your hands frequently

3.Mask up when possible

4.Socially distance by 6 feet, if and when you can.

·Remind is a great tool for getting information to families and a great mode of communication.  Messages from the school will come through this app.

We are looking forward to working with all of you to make this a great school year.  Along with Remind, this site is also a good source for information.  You can check it periodically for current information from the district and from our school.  Let’s have an awesome year here at Cole!
